Het recreatiepark ligt op de overgang van de Veluwe naar de randmeren. Eelerwoude is gevraagd een inrichtingsplan op te stellen voor de uitbreiding van het park. Deze populaire vakantiebestemming grenst aan NNN-gebieden en ligt in Green Development Zone.
