In een samenwerking van Kloos2, architectenbureau Space&Matter en Niek Roozen Landscape wordt het stadspark Bataafse Kamp in het centrum van Hengelo vernieuwd. Ik was voor dit prijswinnende project van de conceptfase tot het definitief onderwerp verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerpproces van het park.
Het modernistische karakter en diverse stedelijke gebruiksfuncties worden versterkt zodat het park meer vitaliteit kan brengen in de binnenstad van Hengelo. Het voormalige schoolgebouw midden in het park wordt getransformeerd tot een luxueus stedelijk woongebouw.
Project bij Niek Roozen Landscape
The city park Bataafse Kamp in the center of Hengelo is renewed. The design, under the cooperation between Kloos2, Space&Matter architects and Niek Roozen Landscape, won the competition in 2019. I was responsible for this project from conceptual phase until the final design phase.
The modern character and various urban functions are enhanced to bring vitality to the park and the city center. The former school Bataafse Kamp in the park will be renovated and transformed into a luxurious apartment building. Project of Niek Roozen Landscape.
